International Folklore Academy `Nestia-Black sea 2005` is organized by Folklore Centre Nestia.
It is a kind of summer school, where the participants will learn music and folklor dances.
In the IFA can take part: folklore ensembles; dancing and vocal groups; soloists and instrumentalists; visiting ensembles and groups 25 years old. In this event can take part players from the others art genres too.

The 9th International Ankara Folk Dance and Youth Festival is organized by AFDAG (Anatolia Folk Dance Association). The Festival will be held from 26 June to 3 July in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.

The international folklore festival Op Roakeldais organizes an annual event; An international folkloristic dancefestival. Each year the organization rejoices in a large audience, varying from 20000 to 25000 visitors. Dance-groups from all over the world take part in the festival. In a breathtaking pace, dance-groups in colourful outfits present their own culture, dance and music with its own timbre and rhythm.
Each culture consists of various aspects, which mutually seek and meet each other, and multiply on the theatre scene without borders: the world! Our dance festival – contest is open to everyone; it is an original and unique cultural event in the area of amateur – non-professional dance in the heart of Europe!
The seminar on Greek traditional dance will take place from July 3rd to July 13th in the village of Platamonas, which is approximately a hundred kilometres south of Thessaloniki, at the Kronos hotel.
For the duration of the seminar, participants will learn dances and songs from the village of Platamonas as well as dances from neighbouring village Leptokaria. Dances from Rizomata of Pieria, Lefkopigi of Kozani, Goumenissa of Kilkis, Bana of Eastern Romylia, Bafra, Argiroupoli and Trapezounta of Pontos, will also be taught at the seminar. There will be 4 – 5 hours of instruction daily. Most sessions will be accompanied by live traditional music.
The seminar price per person is 700 euros which includes all accommodation (with food), instruction, informational packages, and the excursions!
