International Folklore Academy `Nestia-Black sea 2005` is organized by Folklore Centre Nestia.
It is a kind of summer school, where the participants will learn music and folklor dances.
In the IFA can take part: folklore ensembles; dancing and vocal groups; soloists and instrumentalists; visiting ensembles and groups 25 years old. In this event can take part players from the others art genres too.

This festival is an annual event organized by HAFEM (Halay Folklor Egitim Merkezi), an Istanbul-based folk dance and music group that’s been active in preserving Turkish folk dance and music culture for over 15 years. The goal of this annual festival is to strengthen the bond of compassion and hospitality between countries and cultures through dance. There is no political or commercial aim to this event. Adult amateur groups are accepted to this event. A total of 5-6 groups from different countries are selected to participate each year. Groups must have at least 2 (preferably 3-4) different dance routines to perform.

A famous International Dance Competition.

The main focus will be Dance - Classical, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Funky, Folk and all of the various interpretations of Dance Theatre Laboratories.

The 2004 edition of the festival had a great success. About 1100 dancers from the five continents had danced and competed in the big Italian dance event in the 2004.

The Mendocino Balkan Music & Dance Workshop is located in the Mendocino Woodlands, in the redwood forest inland from the northern California town of Mendocino.

The 9th International Ankara Folk Dance and Youth Festival is organized by AFDAG (Anatolia Folk Dance Association). The Festival will be held from 26 June to 3 July in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.
