“Hollo ja Martta” International Folklore Festival

The Hollo & Martta Festival is an annual folklore festival held in Hollola commune and in the surrounding counties of Päijät-Häme.

The festival week shall provide a wide representation of the colourful European dance culture and a generous outlook of domestic folkdance. The festival is organized by Hollola Youth Association, which is one of Finland's leading folklore associations, famous exporter of Finnish folk heritage throughout the world.

The Hollo & Martta Festival is certified as a member of the international CIOFF festivals.

In the VI International Folklore Festival, Hollola will take part:

Bulgaria - Balkan Folk dance group;
Spain - Folk group from Municipal de musica y Danza de Arona;
Romania - Romanian folkdance and music group Boroka;
Scotland (United Kingdom)- Galloways Dancers Group;
Belarus - Folklore group ”Poleshuki”;
Republic of Kalmykia (Russia) - Torga Group;
Estonia - Tartu Academic Male Choir
