[Terminal00] International Balkanart Festival
The festival will be attended by young artists from the Balkan Peninsula, as this will encourage the creativity of young, contemporary urban cultures and introduce variety into festivals across the entire Balkan region.
The central aim of the festival is to create conditions to enabling young artists to work, create and promote their work, while also encouraging free artistic expressions, a constant flow of fresh ideas and the promotion of intellectual and cultural identities of the Balkans.
[Terminal00] includes exhibitions of photography and fine arts, jazz and ethno improvisations on a Balkan theme, video, film, animations and club culture, street theatre and fashion shows. Besides these colourful events, the festival also offers educational events in the form of creative workshops, lectures, discussion and conferences on the subject of Balkan art and culture.
The application deadline for all categories is January 23rd, 2005

Deeper into the Dance: Dancing The Living Goddess
Traditional three-measure dances from Armenia, the Balkans and the Rom (Gypsy) community are among the most ancient dances. Their patterns and symbols connect us with the living energy of the Goddess and the Tree of Life.

This weekend is the occasion for balkan musicians, singers and also dansers to meet together for a 48 hours party. No workshops with professionals, fun and balkan passion exchange is the only purpose of the malleval's balkan' party, fourth session this year.
