International Folklore Academy `Nestia-Black sea 2005`
International Folklore Academy `Nestia-Black sea 2005` is organized by Folklore Centre Nestia.
It is a kind of summer school, where the participants will learn music and folklor dances.
In the IFA can take part: folklore ensembles; dancing and vocal groups; soloists and instrumentalists; visiting ensembles and groups 25 years old. In this event can take part players from the others art genres too.

Balkanfolk Workshop (Practical Seminar For Balkan Folklore)
For the 8th year, admirers of the Balkan folklore will come to learn more about the customs, the culture and the traditions of the Balkans and the beauty of Bulgaria.
The Seminar this year will be held in the town-resort of Bankya (15km away from Sofia city), at Zheravna Hotel. It is planned a two-day trip to the famous Koprivshtitsa Folklore Festival (6-7 of August).
The workshop includes classes on:
Bulgarian and Macedonian dances,
Bulgarian folk singing,
Different Bulgarian folk insruments and
Bulgarian language

National Festival of Bulgarian Authentic Folklore Art – KOPRIVSHTITSA 2005
The 9th National Sabor (Festival) of Bulgarian Folklore Art is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Koprivshtitsa Municipality, with the cooperation of the District Administration of Sofia District, Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, and other Ministries, departments and organizations.
The National Sabor in Koprivshtitsa, most closely connected with the movement for preserving and promoting the Bulgarian folklore, will be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th of August 2005.
In the area of Voyvodenets one will be able to see the variety of genres and extraordinary richness of Bulgarian folklore heritage. This year will be the first time to be presented the Bulgarian traditional trades and their original products.
At the festival will take part singers players, dancers, legend-tellers, instrumentalists, vocal groups, dance groups, and folklore customs groups, all of them performing authentic Bulgarian folklore.
This festival is organized for about 10 000 performers of Bulgarian authentic folklore, not only Bulgariaan citizens, but also Bulgarians living abroad, as well as foreign performers of Bulgarian folklore.
