ABOUT BELGRADE
Belgrade (Beograd) is the capital of Serbia, and has a population of around 1.6 million. It is situated in South-Eastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula, at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe and has since ancient times been an important focal point for traffic, an intersection of the roads of Eastern and Western Europe.
Belgrade is the capital of Serbian culture, education, science and economy. As a result of its tumultuous history, Belgrade has for centuries been home to many nationalities, with Serbs of the Orthodox Christian religion making up the majority of the population (90%). The official language is Serbian, while visitors from abroad can use English to communicate.
The climate in Belgrade is a moderate continental one, with an average daytime temperature of 11.7oC. Belgrade is in the Central European Time (CET) zone (GMT+1 hour). Summer time (GMT+2 hours) lasts from the end of March until the end of October. The official currency is the dinar (RSD), but Euros can be exchanged freely. The Belgrade area code for domestic calls is 011 and for international calls ++381-11

INTERNATIONAL BODRUM DANCE FESTIVAL

International Dance Councill – UNESCO, declared the April 20th as “ World Dance Day” in 1982. The date, which is started to celebrate with a great enthusiasm in all over the world had celebrated for the firs time in Turkey at 2000 in Bodrum.

“Bodrum Dance Festival” is being arranged every year at April 29th. to celebrate this special day will be organised in 2013 as “World Dance Day” in international platform.

The festival which will begin at 27 April 2013 and keep on 4 days long will make Bodrum get together with interesting costumes, dances, musics and different cultures

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS FOR DANCE

1) Transportation expenses to Bodrum Airport ( BJV ) or to Bodrum bus station and the return transportation to hometown of the groups belong to the participants .

2) The transfers during the festival ( April 27th – May 1st ) for the groups from/ to the Airport / bus station, and between the hotel and festival area, will be provided by the organization comittee.

3) The groups who will come by their own vehicles should get the responsibility of their transportation during the festival. Organization comittee is not responsible about their vehicle management. The groups are responsible about the expenses of the repairement of their own vehicles. According to the things that mentioned above, the group vehicles should be fit into International Transport Specifications .

4) Each group should consist of max. 25 people. The quantity of the dancers, musicians, managers , driver ( for the groups travel with their own vehicle ) should not exceed the mentioned number.

6) The groups are able to stay at the 4 xxxx hotel after the end of the festival ( 01 May 2013). Nevertheless, if the groups want to stay longer, all the accommodation expences after the end of the festival will belong to the groups own and the groups will pay 20€ ( Twenty Euro) daily per person. This conditon should be declared before taking part in the festival, the reservations will be done by the organization comittee.

7) The participants should be 16 years old or over.

8) The participant groups can join to the historical and cultural trips,which will be organization comittee, outside the performance hours.

9) The Participants should take place in every activities, which fall with in the program. During the festival all the groups are under the responsibility of the group leaders.

10) The participant groups have to acquire their own accident insurance and every kind of emergency and health insurances. And the groups are obliged to declare the insurance documents to the organization comittee before the festival.

11) The group leaders are responsible of the behaviours of their groups, and the damages which can exist at the festival area and the hotel rooms by their own group. Hereupon a contract will be sent to the invited groups and the groups will be asked to sign the contract.

12) Each group should have 2 different shows and costumes. The groups will be on stage for once in every performance and the duration for the performance will be 8 – 12 min. During the festival, each group will perform 2 or 3 times.

13) Joining to cortege march and to festival exhibitions with the costume for the groups is obligatory. The costumes should be suitable to the stage costume, traditional costumes or to the performed dance.

14) For the cortege march at Bodrum streets; the groups should bring their own country flags ( 100 x 150 cm.) or thy can bring their own organization’s pennants.

15) The groups can use live music or CD during their performance or the cortege march. But if they will use live music, they should inform the comittee about the equipments they will need ( microphones, technical equipments, etc. ) before the festival.

16) As participation fee, 75€ per person will be taken from the groups.


ORGANIZATION COMITTEE

1) During the festival the organization comittee will arrange the breakfast, lunch and dinner and their accordance to the festival program.

2) The Organzation comittee holds the rights of taking pictures of the performances, video, tv and the radio publishing.

3) Organization comittee has the right of publishing and the delivery of every kind of Festival Documents. If the groups do not join after signing the participation contract; Bodrum Dance Club holds the rights to declare the situation and apply to the other organizations around the world.

4) Festival program, participant countries and the hotel list will be anounced at the date of 01 March 2013.

5) 100 litres of gasoline will be given to the participants groups which join with their own buses by the organization comittee, at the end of the festival.
