Traditional Songs and dances by `Dora Stratou` troupe
At 8.00pm, at Filopappou Hill, from 13th to 27th of September, traditions from different Greek regions come to life. Every region is being presented through its traditional costumes, musical instruments, songs and dances.
Dancers, folk musicians and singers in authentic local costumes, offer wonderful performances. The name of the Dance Ensemble is bearing the same name as the Theatre - `Dora Stratou`

Traditional songs, gypsy music from Istanbul and Thrace, `angel` voices from Bulgaria, brass music from Serbia mixed with gypsy grooves. This is `The Sound of the Balkans` performed by excellent ambassadors from four countries: Savina Yannatou with her group Primavera en Salonico, the Bulgarian `Angelite` Voices with conductor Valentin Velkov, Burhan Ocal and his Instanbul Oriental Ensemble from Turkey and the legendary Serbian trumpet player Boban Markovic with the 11 members of his orchestra, participate in a 2-day wonderful music event.
