MACEDONIAN PEARL FOLK-SEMINAR 2013 Winter & Summer Edition.
WELCOME TO MACEDONIA
The next Macedonian Pearl Folk Seminar of traditional Macedonian folk dances and instruments - WINTER SEMINAR - will be held at the Hotel Ambasador in Skopje, Macedonia in 13-21 January 2013. Seminar will start with accommodation in afternoon on 13th and will finish on January 22nd after the breakfast.
This is the eighth year of the seminar, the eighth year of passion and tradition, the eighth year of learning and experiencing.
The next SUMMER SEMINAR, MACEDONIAN PEARL FOLK SEMINAR 2013 will be held at Hotel Manastir in Berovo, Macedonia 9- 18 July 2013. Seminar will start July 9th with accommodation and dinner and will finish on July 18th after the breakfast.

23 February - After breakfast the option of going to the Budim part of the city and a tour of: the Chain Bridge, Fisherman's Bastion, the Church of King Matthias, the Ruler’s Palace, viewpoint places...
Preparations for the performance. Sound check.
The performance of the cultural-artistic societies. Awarding of diplomas. Dinner. The option of going to one of the Hungarian chardas(inns) or discos. Overnight stay.
24 February - Breakfast. After breakfast the possibility of half-day optional excursion - "Three Danube Pearls": Szentendre, a very important place for the preservation of culture and spirituality on the territory of Hungary; Visegrad, a medieval castle and residence of Hungarian rulers; Esztergom, the religious center of the state, which boasts the largest church in Hungary. Return to Budapest.
The journey continues towards the place of departure with the hope to see next year

Workshop on dances from Bulgaria, Macedoia and Serbia

Folk dance and music workshop "Gones‘ Balkans"
Reception: It opens on Saturday, 23th February at 2 p.m. There will be an introduction to the programme at 6 p.m followed by a welkome drink. The workshop closes on 1st March after lunch.
Dances classes: From 24th February in the morning to 1st March at noon (except for a one day excursion). There will be 6 hours of dancing everyday from 8.30 to 12.00 in the morning and from 3.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. in the afternoon.
Excursion: For one day we plan an excursion , exploring the surrounding area.
Evenings: Every evening, our dance teachers and their musicians will offer us the possibility to dance. There will be a party animated by the trainees and also a special party

Bulgaria
Boris DIMITROV, former dancer of the group Zornitsa from Sofia. He currently directs the association Balkanfolk, which amongst other activities, organizes dance workshops in Bulgaria.
He will be accompanied by accordeon player Danail Totev.
Macedonia
Saško ANASTASOV, director of the group Vila Zora in Veles, a town situated south of Skopje.
He will be accompanied by a musician.
Serbia
Vladimir TANASIJEVIĆ, from Belgrade, former dancer of the groups «Serojno Užice», «Kolo», and «Branko Krsmanovič». He has been the artistic director of the latter group for several years.

ORGANIZERS: „ASSOCIATION BULGARIAN FOLKLORE” and „EUROGRADE” Ltd
The festival is part of the events in the program of the festival season 2013, which are held in city Primorsko and city Sofia.
The festival has the aim to give a chance for expression on a significant number of children and young people and help raise their motivation to engage in constructive creative activity as a preventive measure in combating the vicious addictions (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc.) and aggression.
The festival has competitive character only for the groups of Bulgaria and will be held in two directions:
FOLKLORE DANCES AND VOCAL GROUPS AND SOLOISTS
and
MODERN DANCES AND POPULAR MUSIC
REGULATION
In the competition can participate dance ensembles, vocal groups and soloists, instrumental formations and individual singers.
In the festival can participate as guests and groups from abroad developing and promoting the dance styles and techniques in the above directions and in all age groups.
ORGANISATION:
The festival will be held on 23.03 and 24.03.2013 in the national palace of culture- hall 2.
In the application form you must to write the correct program with the name of the authors and the duration of the dances.
During the festival is provided video and photo captures of the performances, if the participants want it.
(The organizers reserve the right of any kind of recording, filming, broadcasting and distributing of the material without paying for rights and benefits)
The program for performances will be given in the day of their arrival. Organizers reserve the right to change it, if it’ s necessary. The transport and accommodation expenses are paid from the groups.
During the festival we can propose you accommodation in hotel 2 or 3 stars on the base of half board or full board.
If it’s necessary to be accommodated in hotel, the conditions can be negotiated with the organizers.
The directors of the groups are responsible for the behavior of their group during the event.
The organizers aren’t responsible for lost items and damages caused by the participants during the festival.
REGISTRATION
The condition for participation in the festival is obligatory to fill application form, in which you must to write: /Application form/:
Biography of the group , correct address, telephone number, fax or email for correspondence; Name and author of the performance; number of the participants; list of the group for the festival; if it’s possible you must to add video, photos of the group, list of the accompanying person.
The application forms with the lists of the participants must to be sent to the organizer latest to 05.03.2013 on email address: abf@dir.bg or office@eurogradebg.com.
FEES
The participation fee for the festival is 200 euro per group.
The participation fee must to be sent with the application form on the bank account below:

We invite you to participate in the THE X.INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – CONTEST OF CHILDRENS AND YOUTH CREATIVITY „THE CZECH SPRING“ The festival is held from 27th. of March. to 3rd.of April 2013 Krusnohorske theatre of Teplice, National House of Vinohrady in Prague; City Hall of Karlovy Vary, Dresden & Berlin. UNDER THE PATRONAGE:City Hall of Prague, Ministry of the education of the Czech Republic, President of the Usti region. Participants:Children and youths groups and soloists performers at 6 to 25 years take part in the following nominations: Choreography (folk, classical, modern, variety dance, ball and contemporary dance, freestyle, disco, hip –hop, jazz & tap dance) ;Singing (folk, academic, variety) – solo, groups and choirs ;Singing for the students of music schools (folk, academic, variety) – solo, groups and choirs; Folk instruments – groups (large and small), orchestras; Instrumental music – groups , Show program’s - Original genres, Music& Theatrical genres; including fine art students and decorative –applied art studios.

• Opening ceremony with concert of the participants;

CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The IV.th. Intern. Independet World Chıldren festıval of Aliağa will take place between 20-25.04.2013
İn Aliağa of İzmir,Turkey.
THE ORGANİZİNG COMMITTEE OF THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN FESTIVAL
OF EGE-FOLKART WİLL PROVİDE THE FOLLWİNGS.
1.Accommodation and meals during the festival.Adults in Hotel and the child.will be guested by the families
(to pair of) having children of the same age.
2.There will be receptıon groups at the İzmir Airport until the arrival of the participating troupes.The troupes
Which arrive by bus,will use their own wehicle for the same activities and 200 litres of diesel oil will be given
Them by the committee.
3.An english speaking interpreter for each troupe will be ready.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF FOREIGN TROUPES
1.Each participating troupe is consisted of 35 members,including children and adult.Administrators,teacher
Musicians and other musn’t be more than 8 people.If there is any person besides 8 adults….
2.The children have to be between 10 and 15 years old.
3.The Internatıonal travelling expenses to İzmir Airport and Aliağa.(110 km.)
4.Each troupe is requested to have own insurance covered including medical insurance during the trip.
5.The participating troupes are requested to arrive in Aliağa on 20/04/2013 and depart on 25/04/2013
6.Each troupe should bring flags of their countries with them.
7.Participants are kindly requested to contact Turkish Embassy or Consulate.
8.All of the shows are with live music or recorded music…
9.There will be 3 times gift exchanges during the festival.
10.Partıcıpatıon fee 700 Euro during the festival.
OTHER INFORMATIONS
1.The average temperature during 20/25 April is 23/26 C. And maybe rainly.
2.The healty services at the hospital in our city are extremely good and available.
3.Electricity is 220 volts in Turkey.

International children’s folklore festival SOFIA 2013

We invite you to take part in International children’s folklore festival SOFIA 2013, which will be organized from 25 to 27 April 2013 in Sofia.

The International Children’s Folklore Festival Sofia 2013 will be organized in Sofia from 24 to 28 April, 2013.
The festival aims to present to the wide audience the children’s cultural heritage of different nations through the presentation of traditional folklore music in an authentic and stylized form.
The festival programme will include:
• concerts on open stages and indoor scenes in Sofia / depending on the weather and the region/;
• Folklore animation by children for children in kindergartens and schools;
• Costume road show;
• folklore art fair;
• recreation and sport
Terms of participation:
1. The International Children’s Folklore Festival Sofia 2013 is not a competition.
2. The participation in the festival is allowed to Children’s Ensembles and Groups that have to prepare choreographies or authentic folklore songs and dances.
3. The group has to be accompanied by a live orchestra. Performances based on CD recording are not accepted.
4. The age limit of the participants is 8 to 14 years, with the exception of managers and musicians.
5. The group has to prepare 3 performances lasting respectively 20 minutes, 15 minutes and 4 minutes that will be presented on the concerts during the festival. The Ensembles should be ready to present their country, folklore costumes, games, traditions and customs to the Bulgarian children in English.
6. The group has to participate in all events during the festival.
7. The festival will be filmed by television and recorded on the radio, as participants are not allowed to have any claims for copyright of the photo, video and audio materials.
8. The groups will be allowed to sell their traditional souvenirs and other items which should be announced beforehand to the organizers
9. All groups participating in the festival will receive gifts and diplomas for participation.
10. Transportation costs to Bulgaria, Sofia and back, and during the festival are on behalf of the groups.
11. According to the rules of the International Children’s Folklore Festival in Sofia, children will be accommodated in host families, as each family will host one child.
There is a possible option for hotel accommodation. In this case each participant has to pay a participation fee of 110 euro. Confirmation of hotel accommodation has to be submitted no later than 01 February, 2013.
12. The group should not exceed 25 people, including executives, musicians and drivers. For each person over the limit there is an additional fee of 110 euro for participation.
13.The groups have to arrive after 5pm on 24 April and depart until 11:00am on 28 April. The festival does not accept extra expenses for groups arriving earlier or departing later by the announced times.
14. All participants of the festival must have valid health insurance covering hospital treatment.
Deadline for applications:
The Groups have to submit their application forms by January 02, 2013 by sending a completed form to the organizers; history of the group and advertising materials; photos to be used in the Festival advertisement; DVD recorded performance that will be presented at the Festival.

from 26 - 29 April 2013
26 April - Arrival of the group in Paris in the morning... Panoramic tour of the city, the first walk and exploring the city...Check into the hotel. ... Accommodation of the group. After a short rest and break, going by underground to Quartier Latin and introduction to the bohemian district of the city... A walk in the Ile de la Cite to the Palais de Justice and Notre - Dame … Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
27 April - Breakfast. After breakfast optional visit to the magnificent palace of Versailles from the sixteenth century, which was the residence of King Louis XIV, who was also called – the King of Sun. Visiting the most famous castle in the world, a perfect example of French baroque, which was built for the enjoyment of the kings of France... Walk through the beautiful elegant parks... Return to Paris.
Preparations for the performance. Sound check. A cocktail for the Presidents and ensemble representatives!

28 April – Breakfast. After breakfast continued tour of Paris: Montparnasse Tower (optional entry), Les Invalides, Champ - de - Mars, Alexander III Bridge, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero Square, Moulen Rouge, Montmartre, basilica Sacre - Couer, Place du Tertre, Opera Garnier… In the evening the optional one-hour Seine River cruise by panoramic boat is provided and followed by an optional visit to Eiffel Tower, with a panoramic view of Paris at night…... Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
29 April – Breakfast. Leaving the hotel. Last day in Paris you can use for an optional visit to the famous EURO DYSNEYLAND PARK. A large number of attractions for all ages … Visit the unique entertainment park in Europe with unlimited enjoyment in all the attractions and attending show programs, as well as a special parade… Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy in a fantastic and memorable fun. Or, spend this day exploring the many cultural sites, as well as shopping in Paris, where you can take advantage of free time to experience the magic of Parisian streets full of exclusive department stores… Leaving beautiful Paris till next year !!!!!!!!!
