On June 8 at 7 p.m. a concert in honor of Boris Valkov will take place in Osvobozhdenie cinema-theatre! Dance group of the Teachers - "Boris Valkov" together with friends from groups that were part of Boris Valkov's life, we are gathering to fulfill his wish during his lifetime!

Let us all remember "The Boss" and his unique look and sense of humor!

The concert will feature - Teachers' Dance Ensemble - Boris Valkov", Folk Dance Ensemble "Botevgrad" with director Stoyan Stoyanov, Representative Dance Ensemble "Kremikovtsi" with director Valentina Kitova, Ensemble "Ovcharska pesen" (Shepherd's Song) from Dorkovo, Ensemble "Nie ot Shopluka" (We from Shopluk) to the Central House of Transport Workers, SNC "Bulgarsko Horo" (Bulgarian Dance).

Dear friends, who have preserved the Bulgarian, "Narodno Chitalishte Iskra-1897-
village of Yagodovo" is pleased to invite you to the first of its kind art
festival - "Secrets of Grandmother's Chest".

The aim of the festival is to preserve, develop and present
the traditional forms of the centuries-old Bulgarian folklore heritage - music,
dances, songs, customs and rituals. At the heart of our initiative is the idea
to confirm the continuity in the inheritance of folklore culture
between generations.


In the program of the festival, the following can take part: dance ensembles,
ensembles and clubs; singing groups and choirs; craft workshops;
presentation of Bulgarian rites and customs; schools of applied arts, etc.
Let's preserve the love of folklore that our ancestors are
created over the centuries to preserve our national image!
