IV.International Folk Dance and Music festival PIERIA 2015.

Festival CONDITIONS:
☼ Organizers of the IV.International Folk Dance&Music Festival ’’PIERIA FEST 2015.’’ are local municipalities of Pieria region, Greece and organizing team MyFolkFest from Belgrade, Serbia, supported by TA Prima Plus, Nis, Serbia.
☼ Festival is competitive and is open for all groups, no age limit. Winners will be awarded by special cups and medals.
☼ Propositions of the festival competition will be sent to groups later. Competition part of the festival is not obligatory, only for groups that apply. All other groups take part in the review night.
☼ There will be few winning categories: best performance-dancing, best orchestra-music, best choir-singing, best costumes, audience award.
☼ Each group will get diploma for the participation to the festival, as well as DVD from the festival after the festival is finished.
☼ Every group will get official brochure of the festival with the presentation of the participating groups, in English.
☼ Groups will have one or two performances - in Pieria region (Nei Poroi, Platamonas). Also a short defile walking (parade). Each group has to prepare 10-12 min. of quality program. Performances are on the open air stages, wooden and concrete, 10mx10m.
☼ It is not necessary to have live music/using playback-CD is allowed.
☼ The group has to bring its national flag and board with the group name for the parade.
☼ Accommodation of participating groups is organized in the 3 star family hotels in Nei Pori, near the beach, in apartments and studios with 3 and 4 beds in rooms, with bathroom, on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner).
☼ If the weather is nice for swimming, every group has to take care about their members safety.
☼ Every group must have one English speaking person for official contact during the festival.
☼ Number of participating groups is limited.
☼ The groups have to organize their travel to and from Nei Poroi.
☼ For the groups that are coming with their own bus there is a free parking place in the hotel area.

FESTIVAL CONDITIONS:
- International Folklore Music and Dance Festival ’’NEOS MARMARAS CUP 2015.’’ is being held for the 15th time, under the patronage of the Neos Marmaras municipality. It is gathering folk dance groups and music bands from all over the world, who like to meet new people and spend holiday week in Greece, singing and dancing together.
- Festival organizers are Municipality of Neos Marmaras, Mayor Mr.Georgios A.Kaplanis, PARADISO Club Travel Agency, Belgrade, Serbia and MyFolkFest Org.Team.
- Festival is competitive and is open for all groups, no age limit. Winners will be awarded by special cups and medals. Propositions of the festival competition will be sent to groups later.
- Competition part of the festival is not obligatory, only for groups that apply. All other groups take part in the review night.
- There will be few winning categories: best performance-dancing, best orchestra-music, best choir-singing, best costumes, best impression…
- Groups will have two performances at the festival and a short defile walking (no dancing in the parade). Each group has to prepare 10 min. of quality program. Performances are on the open air stages, wooden stage 10mx8m and concrete.
- It is not necessary to have live music. It is also allowed to perform using CD, but it has to be of a good quality recording.
- Accommodation of participating groups is organized in the 3 star family hotels near the city beach, in apartments and studios with 3 and 4 beds in rooms, with bathroom, TV, refrigerator, on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner).
- Each group will get diploma for the participation to the festival, as well as DVD from the festival after the festival is finished.
- Every group will get official brochure of the festival with the presentation of the participating groups, in English.
- The group has to bring its national flag and board with the group name for the parade.
- If the weather is nice for swimming, every group has to take care about their members safety, there are no lifeguards on the beaches.
- Every group must have one English speaking person. Organizer will give an English speaking guide for every group who will be responsible for contact 24h a day.
- Number of participating groups is limited for each festival, so the places will be given to the groups who send their pre-payment first - 20€ per person (this amount is not refundable if the group cancels their participation).
- Each group has 1 free place for 25 persons who pay.
- The groups have to organize their travel to and from Neos Marmaras.
- For the groups that are coming with their own bus there is a free parking place in the hotel area.
- Also we can provide airport transfers (on group request we will send the offer). The nearest airport is Thessalloniki and the bus price depends on the number of people in the group, approx. 30eur per person, return ticket.
- If group needs visa, it is responsibility of the group to arrange it!
Organizers can only give invitation letter to groups and can not interfere to visa issuing process and make extra contacts to embassies.
- The groups are recommended to have insurance policy for all their members.
- Application form, together with 2-3 group photos and short biography, should be sent latest until 31.january 2015. for festival in May and 31.march for festival in September.

Dear friends,
Udbhav is the leading organization of sports & cultural activities in India. Every year we organize an International
dance festival in Gwalior ( INDIA ). We would like to invite dance groups from all over the globe to take part in the in
our dance festival “ UDBHAV UTSAV.The festival would be organized in the historical city Gwalior. The city is
famous for music & dance, fort, palace and many other historical monuments.One of the 8 wonders of the world, The
Taj Mahal ( AGRA ) is situated near by Gwalior.
Participants -Folk groups, Traditional Dance groups, belly groups etc.
Date - 23rd to 28th October 2015
Conditions-
1. 3 meals per day.
2. The festival committee will provide English speaking guide. One English knowing person is compulsory in each
group.
3. Local sight scenes will be arranged by the festival committee.
4. The festival committee covers the cost of the tickets of the historical places in the city
5. Each participant will receive certificate ( Diploma ) and each group will receive a memento/souvenir.
6. All the groups will cover their own travel expenses up to Gwalior railway station / airport and back.
7. Festival committee will receive the groups at Gwalior railway station / airport.
8. All groups will get an English speaking guide in capital Delhi (airport) who will assist them to take train or flight to
Gwalior. Transportation between airport and railway station / domestic airport will be arranged by the festival
committee.
9. If the groups interested, festival committee can arrange the Delhi-Gwalior-Delhi tickets by train .The cost of the
tickets will be paid by the groups at time of arrival in Gwalior. Gwalior is at 325 kms from Delhi. Frequent train
services are available.
10. During festival groups will perform 4-6 items of 6-8 minutes each.( for groups ).
11. Music may be live or on good recorded c.d.
12. Group members must be of the age of 10+
13. Professional groups not permitted.
14. Schools, amateur groups, dance institutions are welcomed.
15. All the groups would be responsible for the confirmation of their journey tickets. Festival committee will not be
responsible for any confirmation of journey tickets.
16. There is no provision of liqueur in the meals.
17. One official free for 20 members group.( 20+1).Maximum 20+1 members allowed.
18. Overseas health insurance is must.
19. Groups can book tours to Agra.The city of “Taj Mahal-(One of the 8 wonders of the world”) ,capital New
Delhi, World famous city Jaipur, khajuraho and many other touristic places ,at reasonable costs.
Accommodation –1) International Hostel – with 3 Indian meals 50 Euro per person for full festival
period.
2) 300 Euro perperson. ( Breakfast in hotel ,Lunch & dinner at different places)

Tour to the villages of Drama
 |
in the twelve days between Christmas and Epiphany there are many old customs traditionally taking place in Greece. In the most of them masked people dressed with animal skins and bells create a troupe with specific rules for the amateur actors.
In the area of Drama in Macedonia/Greece these traditions are alive and well attended from the local population. They happen from the 5th to the 8th of January every year since centuries.
Our tour to these villages will introduce these traditions to our participants who in many cases will follow the troupes, will take part in their festivities and acts, eat, drink and dance with them and the rest of the villagers. It will be a unique experience of ancient spirituals.
We will stay in the hotel "Marianna" (http://www.marianna-hotel.gr/) in the town of Drama from the 3d to the 9th of January. During our stay will have dance lessons as well as lectures with Kyriakos Moisidis and other locals who studied these traditions.
All our transports will be with a bus hired for our tour (including the ones from Thessaloniki's airport to Drama and back.
Breakfast will be served in the hotel, lunch and dinner will have them either in local tavernas or in the villages during the festivities together with the local people (they prepare food for everyone and we are welcome to join them!) When we will have the "common" food the variety will be limited but there are always other possibilities.
On the 9th of January will travel to Thessaloniki for our last day. We will stay in the hotel "Vergina" (http://www.vergina-hotel.gr/) and for our final night we will visit a tavern with traditional music to eat and dance.

XII. International Festival for Children and Youth “Holiday of Spring 2016”

An international festival for children and youth “Holiday of Spring” will be held for the twelfth times in the Czech Republic. The festival, which is an international showcase of singing, music and dance ensembles, welcomes many young performers from various countries.
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Czech Republic, Prague mayor Adriana Krnáčová, Teplice mayor and governor of the Usti Region Oldrich Bubeníček hold the patronage over the festival.
Program of spectacular show is thoroughly prepared based on the assessment of the international jury. Spectators can look forward to a colourful parade of various arts such as singing, dancing, playing musical instruments etc., at a very high and professional level, despite the young age and Amateur Status of performers.
Individual performances will be evaluated at the competition, which will take place on 29. 3. 2016 in DK Teplice from 17:00. The festival closing ceremony - gala concert will be held on 31. 3. 2015 in the Hybernia Theatre in Prague at 17:00, where viewers will again be able to enjoy performances of modern, classical and folkloric dancing, singing and other forms of art.
