"Our Hidden Treasures"
In celebration of BMNECC's 90th Anniversary, Otets Paissii Performing Folk Ensemble invites you to enjoy our upcoming annual performance on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. This year, we celebrate Cкрити съкровища—Skriti sukrovishta (Hidden Treasures), displaying the passion for Bulgarian and Macedonian education, arts, culture and tradition that we hold close to our hearts and share deeply with our families, friends, and most importantly our community. The celebration will continue with a reception at the BMNECC immediately following the performance.
The BMNECC’s Otets Paissii Performing Folk Ensemble has been blessed enough to delighting local and international audiences for many years with their rich culture and traditions. The group presents their new and exciting concert annually in addition to festivals and performances throughout the season. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Bilyana Stoyanova Stafura, Otets Paissii continues to bring together generations upon generations to share the stage. Totaling over 60 performers, Otets Paissii Performing Folk Ensemble, Danka Folk Dance Group, and the Otets Paissii Bulgarian Sunday School will share their talents in this spectacular evening!
