During the weekend, Joan Amsterdam (International Folk Rhythms) will open up shop at Tapestry with a variety of folk-related merchandise including CD’s, tapes, records, ethnic-wear, etc.

Martin Koenig has been teaching Balkan dance for the past 35 years at universities and folk dance centers throughout North America and Western Europe. His initial and primary focus has been the music and dance created in the context of community celebration.
