The Mendocino Balkan Music & Dance Workshop is located in the Mendocino Woodlands, in the redwood forest inland from the northern California town of Mendocino.
It is possible to attend the evening parties, which begin at 9 p.m. if you register before June 24. The cost is $20 per person per evening. Admission includes evening dance parties and late-night kafana activities until 2:30 a.m. (no overnight accommodations).

Some 15 or 20 dance-groups from all over the world take part in the festival.

An international folkloristic dancefestival. Each year the organization rejoices in a large audience, varying from 20000 to 25000 visitors. Some 15 or 20 dance-groups from all over the world take part in the festival. In a breathtaking pace, dance-groups in colourful outfits present their own culture, dance and music with its own timbre and rhythm.
