Greetings from Turkey.

Anatolian Folk Dance Group was founded by Mr. Arif SONMEZ in 1992. Till today group had performed Anatolian Folk Dances and Musics with original dances, costumes and musics in Turkey and lots of foreign countries. Our aim is meet cultures together without look their religions, languages and lineages. The most importand think is peace and friendship between folks in all over the world.
Anatolian Folk Dance Group is IOV International Festivals Comm. Member of Turkey. We are inviting folk dance and musics group from all over the world where we orginizing folk dance festivals in Turkey. And also we are sending folk dance groups from Turkey who needs Turkish folk dance and music groups.

Announced festival is a Y A R E N Ajans organization (www.yarenajans.com) open to children folk dance groups of a high artistic standard.

Please send your e-mail to yarenajans@yahoo.com for the festival conditions, details and application, including short description of your group and some photos as soon as possible. Group selection will be done due to application dates of the groups.

On 24.04.2008 the "National Art" dance company will present "Refugees" on the stage of the "Salza i smiah" theater in Sofia.

On 26 April 2008 (Saturday) in Brussels, Belgium a concert of Bulgarian folklore music and demonstration of Bulgarian folklore dances will e held. The music will be played by a Bulgarian-Belgian band:
Guitar: Benjamin Clement, Zongora Trio
Viola: Nicolas Hauzeur and Renaud Crols, Zongora Trio
Clarinet: Mladen Mladenov
The dances will be performed by ‘Sedyanka’ dance formation, led by Alain and Anne Sansen.
The show will be e a masterly demonstration of the specifics of Bulgarian traditional music – the asymmetric rhythms and typical sound of Bulgarian traditional music instruments.
The dances, being so colourful and dynamic, will be a magnificent and unforgettable presentation of the genial Bulgarian traditional art.

Dance, song and instrumental ensembles are invited to take part in the Festival.

The Festival has no competitive character. It’s puprose is to acquaint both the participants and the resort guests with the art, culture, traditions and habits of the participating countries, to create informal contacts between children and delegations’ officials, to provide good rest in Italy.

The festival is organized by SOPRAVISTA Association and The Municipality of Anzio in collaboration with the Public Shcool Board.
