From 1992 ,ASTRA national Museum Complex organized 4 editions of the Fair of the Children Handicrafts from Romania. After 1996, following the requests addressed to the Ministry of Education, this manifestation is part of the extra - curricular activities and was transformed in a National Olympics.
At the National Olympics `Traditional Artistic Handicrafts` may participate children (6 to 16 years old).
Place: the Open Air Museum from Sibiu's Grove.

The Festival of Nations is a celebration of the diversity of the City of St. Louis. The event is presented by the International Institute with support from and more than 125 local ethnic organizations. Festival of Nations features nearly 40 booths featuring authentic ethnic food, as well as handmade gift items. Two stages of non-stop music and dance performances will thrill a projected audience of 35,000.
Parade of Nations will be held on Saturday July 24th at 10am and will travel through the South Grand Business District to Tower Grove Park. The parade will have world music, ethnic dress, and new and old ethnic communities.

Up to 300 dancers perform in a variety of venues. From the Opening Ceremonies, through the Parade, the Street Festival, Youth Culture Classes, Adult Dance Classes, Performances, and other ceremonies it is not unusual to see dancing, singing, and laughter filling the streets.
The goal of the festival is to have a cultural exchange between the community and countries of the world.
