The 17th edition of the South West International Folklore Festival "MIR IN THE BALKANS" will be held this year between the 25th and the 28th of May in the town of Dupnitsa, Bulgaria.

This is the first international folklore festival, which since 2003, becomes regional, covering the cities of Dupnitsa, Sapareva Banya, Bobov Dol, Kocherinovo and Kyustendil.

Organizers are FTA Dupnitsa-2000 Association and Dupnitsa Municipality with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria. The opening will be a glimpse on the streets of the city and a concert (presentation) of the participants.

Applications are accepted until the end of April 2018.
