International Festival of Advent and
Christmas Music
Winter Sonata Prize 2011

Dear Friends, the ENDOWMENT FUND International Youth Forum are inviting you to take part in the IV. International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music “The WINTER SONATA PRIZE 2012” The festivals will held in the Czech Republic in Prague on December 14 -18. 12. 2012. The Czech capital Prague opens its gates and invites choirs to its charming center decorated for Christmas. We are inviting music choirs and orchestras from all over the world; your songs and performances will contribute to a truly heartwarming atmosphere of Christmas. The festival will be held by the International Youth Forum ENDOWMENT FUND, under the patronage of City Hall of Prague. Choirs are eligible to join the festival either as non-competitive choirs participating in all the performances of the festival, or as competitive choirs. The Festival is open to Mixed, Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Choirs and Chamber Vocal Ensembles, Orchestras and music bands. The time limit on performances is 15 minutes. The program can consist of advent or spiritual music either a cappella or with instrumental accompaniment (a piano will be available). In the Festival take part the Choirs and music bands from all over the World, which desires to perform its cultural work. The age of participants is not restricted. The Festival organizers look forward to hosting professional and amateur choirs and choral ensembles. or to the fax: +420-267911783. The final date for application is 10.09.2012 ; Prizes: Each choir will receive a diploma with the certification of the results. Upon proposal of the jury, other prizes of the festival will be awarded; for the best performances from the point of view dramaturgy, voice culture, or conducting. The jury decisions are final, no appeals may be made. Special prizes: GRAND-PRIX CERTIFIKAT FOR THE 3 YEARS FREE PARTICIPATION IN THE ONE OF THE FESTIVALS BY ENDOWMENT FUND INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM!!! The 1st. Laureates, will get the free tour to the EUROPE FESTIVAL TOUR The winners will be invited to the summer festival in the South Bohemia !!!Festival competition payment: 280, - EUR per one group. The gala concert of "Phillip Koutev" National Folklore Ensemble will be held at the Palace of Culture and Sport, Varna, on
December 16th - 7 p.m.

Tickets at the Cash Desk at DKC and at "Bulgaran" cinema.

The concert is to celebrate 60 years of "Phillip Koutev" ensemble.

NACIONALNI FOLKLORNI ANSAMBL SRBIJE "KOLO"
je jedina ustanova kulture u Srbiji u oblasti scensko-muzičkih delatnosti koja čuva, neguje i prezentuje našu tradicionalnu umetnost, kroz igru, pesmu, muziku i običaje. Ansambl KOLO osnovala je vlada Republike Srbije 15.maja 1948. godine, sa ciljem da se profesionalnim i studioznim radom neguju, koreografski uobličavaju i umetnički obrađuju narodne igre, čuvajući njihov koren, stil i osnovni karakter. KOLO je gostovalo na svim kontinentima u najprestižnijim koncertnim dvoranama: Metropoliten, Karnegi Hol, Rojal Festival Hol, Boljšoj Teatar, Palata Šajo, Opera u Sidneju, Nacionalni Centar Umetnosti u Pekingu...
Direktor ansambla KOLO je gospodin Radojica Kuzmanović.

NACIONALNI FOLKLORNI ANSAMBL MAKEDONIJE "TANEC"
osnovala je Vlada Republike Makedonije 1949. godine sa ciljem da čuva i neguje bogato kulturno nasleđe Makedonije. Od tada TANEC je neumorno istraživao, prikupljao i negovao scensku prezentaciju makedonskih narodnih igara, pesama, muzike i nošnji. Izvanredni profesionalni i autentični nastupi očarali su publiku širom sveta. TANEC je istaknuti profesionalni folklorni ansambl i dobitnik je najviših nagrada i priznanja. Smatra se ambasadorom makedonske folklorne tradicije.
Direktor ansambla TANEC je gospodin Zoran Džorlev.


NACIONALNI FOLKLORNI ANSAMBL BUGARSKE "FILIP KUTEV”
Ansambl je osnovan 1951.godine kao otelotvorenje ideje istaknutog kompozitora Filipa Kuteva da bugarsku narodnu tradiciju prezentuje na scensko-umetničkom nivou. Njegov estetski cilj bio je da sačuva oblik i stil narodne muzike u fazi kompozicije i pesme preko tradicionalnih instrumenata, vokalnog zvuka, arhaičnih kostima i igre. Ansambl je do danas održao na desetine hiljada koncerata u Bugarskoj i širom sveta. U poslednjih nekoliko godina ansambl je doživeo različiti stilski razvoj. Nova umetnička traganja označena su proširenjem opsega žanra, zvuka, scene i forme.
Direktor ansambla FILIP KUTEV je prof.dr Elena Kuteva.

Songs of the Balkans with Michelle Green, co-founder and artistic director since 1986 of Ensemble "DJANAM" - Paris, France.
