"If you can walk, we will teach you how to dance"

The program of this workshop includes the teaching of folk dances from Banat and Romania.
The organizers of this workshop are professionals with a great experience in their fields: Toma Frentescu, artistic director and master choreographer of the folk ensemble "Timisul" and Marius Ursu, artistic director and master choreographer of the folk ensemble “Doina Timisului”

The program of this workshop includes the teaching of folk dances from Banat and Romania.
The organizers of this workshop are professionals with a great experience in their fields: Toma Frentescu, artistic director and master choreographer of the folk ensemble "Timisul" and Marius Ursu, artistic director and master choreographer of the folk ensemble “Doina Timisului”

Dance teachers:
- Marius Ursu, artistic director and master choreographer of the folk ensemble “Doina Timisului”. Marius teaches Romanian folklore dances to amateur and professional folk ensembles, in courses and various workshops. He has participated to workshops in countries like: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Serbia, Switzerland, etc.
- masters choreographers to group will be participated to “The Festival of Hearts”

Date and place:
a. Date of the workshop
From Monday evening, the 8th of July to Thursday, the 18th of July 2013, after breakfast.
b. Place
Timisoara, the capital of Banat, a town in the west part of Romania, also known as the town of roses.
Prigor, the village situated on the southern part of Banat.

Housing and meals
a. Timisoara, 8 days with board and lodging included, in double rooms (breakfast, lunch and dinner included), in 3*** hotel.
b. Prigor, 2 days with board and lodging included, in peasant homes and meals together.

From 10 until 14 of July, 2013 will be the 24th edition of the International Folk Festival “The Festival of Hearts" (will take part group from 10 countries and from Romania more than 20 folk groups: professional and villages).
Each evening in this period we will see the performance of "The Festival of Hearts" (Festival stage located in the Park of the Roses)

We have a surprise for you:
We will prepare a choreographic suite from Banat, which we will present the closing show of The International Folk Festival “The Festival of Hearts”
